In our San Mateo facility, we perform many of our business-to-business
(daytime) data collection and focus group recruiting. This facility is
staffed by highly experienced interviewers who can successfully conduct a wide variety of surveys
and interviews. Remote monitoring is available to Merrill Research clients through this facility.
Experienced, Well-Trained Interviewing Staff
The company maintains a high standard of practice in the training and
monitoring of its interviewing staff. As a member of both the Marketing
Research Association (MRA) and the Council of American Survey Research
Organizations (CASRO), Merrill Research adheres to strict guidelines for
staffing practices, training, briefings and data collection practices.
Each and every interviewer employed by Merrill Research is trained in
sound data collection practices, interviewing techniques, and adheres to
a stringent code of ethics.
The interviewing staff is primarily focused on executive-level research
and has gained extensive experience recruiting business professionals
for in-depth interviews, focus groups, panel discussions, etc. In
addition, this staff has conducted numerous in-depth interviews with
executive and senior management personnel from a diversified mix of
industries in many countries around the world. Topics have included
technology, finance and healthcare, among others. Most of our staff
has been with the company for over 10 years, and Merrill Research is
proud of the low employee turnover rate.
Highly Competent in a Wide Variety of Project Types
Since 1991, Merrill Research has performed a wide variety of very
successful projects. High-technology projects span computer systems,
software, networking and communications, semiconductors, peripherals,
medical electronics, and the distribution channel. Our data collection
staff routinely interview the following target audiences: design
engineering community, senior executives, retail and industrial
distribution channels (i.e., VARs, systems integrators, sophisticated
end-users, OEMs), the IT community, and end-users. Consumer projects
